Aspect is an independent creative production company. We have a team that look after productions, arranging the creation of concepts and ideas, liaison of script development, and providing location finding and management, equipment and full on crews to film just a few hours on a small scale locally to months of production filming anywhere in the world. We have a duplication and encoding facility that allows us to deliver finished films in whatever format is required.

Our Approach
Aspect brings a 'commercials' shine and a real down-to-earth attitude to non-broadcast visual communications. We are able to guide clients through the production process - clients that do not regularly make films. We bring creative and production areas closer together to be innovative and do things differently. We don't allow the different areas stages and individuals of a production to remain separate. It's all a family of production.
We drive the production according to budget. Our aim is to get as much of the production spend on the screen as possible. And, with nearly 20 years of experience we have a pool of talent for filming wherever the requirement. From storyboard artistes to make-up artistes and Directors of Photography to Location scouts and editors.
Developing What You Want
Some clients have definite ideas of what they want as content in their film, and some have no idea at all. We have Creative Directors who help create ideas and treatments as well as scriptwriters who will develop them with the client. Directors work closely with producers to ensure budgets are met.
Experience
Our directors work in TV/Film and broadcast and their experience comes from working on feature films, corporate films, government films and over 500 commercials. This year we have shot in Harrogate, Leeds, Bradford, London, Cape Town and China.
We are a member of the APA and work to AFVPA and IPA standards.
We have filmed on all formats from mini-DV, through Digi-beta, High-Definition, 16mm and 35mm. The only format we have not worked on is IMAX 70mm.
Post-production has been varied. Some budget jobs have been edited and finished on Shake on a portable PC. Others take the usual Avid or Final Cut pro approach for an offline and then online for best visual results in Smoke and Editbox. We often grade in Telecine to get the best from the captured images.
